Using information like pressure sensitivity, Krita can make strokes richer and more fascinating. However, sometimes this pressure sensitivity feature of the application just doesn’t work. So you can simply turn it off.
Simply click on Settings > Configure Krita > Tablet Settings. A default sensitivity curve will be included. To make it vertical, use two dots. You can find one dot at the bottom and the other at the top. Change the input device settings in the application preferences to modify the brush and remove pressure sensitivity from the curves.

Disabling Pressure Sensitivity Feature
While some have a problem with enabling the Krita application’s pressure sensitivity feature, others have an issue with disabling it. Several artists do not prefer having the pressure sensitivity feature turned on.
Here’s how to disable it:
Step 1: Settings Tab
- Once you have opened Krita, you can see the “Settings” tab
- Click on Configure Krita after clicking on Settings, which will pop up a small window
- Hover your mouse over to the Tablet Settings and press on it
Step 2: Input Pressure Global Curve
- You will be able to see a graph under the “Input Pressure Global Curve” section, with a diagonal line starting from “Low Pressure” and ending at “1.0.”
- Drag the line by clicking on the lower-pressure end and drag it towards the high-pressure end (top-right corner of the graph)
- Click the “Ok” button, and you are all ready
