1. Open the “export as” panel by going to “file” and then “export.” Alternatively, you can hold the “control,” “shift,” “alt,” and “W” keys if you are using Windows or the “command,” “shift,” “option,” and “W” keys if you are using Mac as keyboard shortcuts.

2. Within this panel, you can choose JPEG from the list of different formats.

3. Next, alter the image quality, height, and width as required.

4. If you resize your image, you need to resample it to adjust it according to the modification in its dimensions.

5. Within the “export as” panel, there are two choices for color space. If your image is for web purposes, select the “convert to sRGB” option, otherwise, select “embed color profile” to maintain your image’s colors.

6. Once done, click “export” to save your image as a JPEG file.

To use this method, begin by opening the RAW file on your Photoshop window. When doing so, the RAW file gets opened within “camera raw.” This is to allow for detailed edits to be made before the file goes to Photoshop. Then, follow these steps:

1. After editing the file, you can turn it to JPEG within the camera raw.

2. Press the “save” icon presented as a down arrow between squared brackets. This is found at the top right corner within the “camera raw” panel.  

3. The “save options” panel will open. Here, turn preset into “save as JPEG.”

4. Next, select the JPEG file’s saving location from the “destination” options and name your file.

5. Then, go to “quality” to modify your file’s quality. If your file is for printing purposes, set the quality to either “high” or “maximum.”

6. Having adjusted all the settings, press “save.”

3. It is necessary to shut down and then restart Photoshop for the changes to take effect.

How to Hide the Recent File List in Photoshop?

As you can see above, Photoshop makes it simple to clear the Recent File List. However, if you go on to open other files, the list will show them again. 

1. Click “Edit” in the toolbar to get rid of the Recent File List and hide the recent files from the “Home” page. 
2. Then pick Preferences and “File Handling” from the list.
3. Once the Preferences window appears, scroll toward the end of the window and use the text box next to the “Recent File List Contains” item to adjust it to the value “0” (zero).
4. The Preferences box will shut, and Photoshop will store your changes once you click “OK.” 

The list of recently opened files will not appear in the File menu or on the Home screen going forward.

But keep in mind that Photoshop still keeps track of files you’ve used or changed recently, even if you don’t see them. If you change “Recent File List Contains” to a number other than 0, you can show recently opened files again.
