Step 1: Open Document

Launch the Acrobat Reader program. Go to File > “Open.” Click the Open button when you have finished browsing for the Photoshop PDF file that you saved before.

Your large Photoshop file should open without any problems in Acrobat Reader. Open the File menu, then select Print to configure it for printing tiles.

Step 2: Split Document

Once you find the Page Size & Handling section in the Print dialogue box, click the Poster button. Your large document has now been split into as many pages as necessary, as you can see in the preview bar.

Step 3: Adjust Settings

Increase the Tile Size parameter to make your image larger altogether. Although this will make reconstructing the final image more challenging because you’ll need to put each tile more precisely rather than merely matching the borders, you may also establish an overlap around the edges of each tile.

Step 4: Print

Click the Print button after making more printer-specific adjustments. You’ll need some time to finish it, but your Photoshop document will print out properly tiled once you do.

Method 2: Manually Slicing Your Image

To create a tiled print, you may manually cut your image in Photoshop, although doing so will take much longer and make you more prone to human error.

Step 1: Determine Measurements

Choose New Guide Layout from the View menu after opening it. Although it’s a little tricky, Photoshop will produce a dialogue box that lets you make a regular grid pattern using guidelines.

Activate Columns and Rows, and set the gutter value for each to 0 pixels.

To put your guides in the appropriate places, determine the pixel tile size. Choose your largest printed tile (for example, 7.5 by 10), and multiply every dimension by 300 to determine the pixel sizes to enter for the Width and Height parameters. Print resolution should be 300 pixels per inch.

To be sure you didn’t accidentally flip the two values, enter the correct measurements in the Width and Height boxes and verify them again in the live preview.

Step 4: Use the Slice Tool

Locking And Unlocking Objects In InDesign

One of the features in InDesign is the ability to lock and unlock objects, which is useful for preventing accidental changes to important design elements or temporarily disabling elements during the design process.

What Is Striking Through Text?

6. The two options that are slightly separated from the rest at the bottom right are the options for Underlining and Striking Through. 
7. Now click on underline first and immediately click on Strikethrough.
8. The key is to keep the selection from canceling before you click on both options. 
9. The text will be underlined and struck through now.

1. Select the text by double-clicking it or by pressing Control + A (Windows) or Command + A. (Mac).
2. After that, select Window > Character.

How to Make a Dotted or Dashed Underline in Photoshop

Although Photoshop’s default underlines function is fine, you cannot alter its thickness, location, or style. Fortunately, you can design your underlines in Photoshop and alter them in many ways, eliminating the need to continuously employ the same underline effect. 

Making dotted or dashed underlines is one method of doing this.

Step 1: Choose Your Tools

1. Use the Text Tool to enter your text on the canvas.
2. Use the line tool from the Shape Tool menu on the toolbar afterward.

Step 2: Adjust Settings

1. After choosing the line tool, you can adjust some settings in the Settings menu. As a first step, switch the tool Mode to Shape.
2. Then, make the Stroke black and the Fill transparent (or any color you would like the stroke to be).
3. Pick a good value for the Stroke Width next. We usually recommend 2.5px.
4. After that, select between dotted and dashed lines from the Stroke Type option. 
5. By selecting Additional Options at the panel’s bottom, you can modify the appearance of your dotted or dashed lines.
6. Choose the dash length in Dash and the space between the dashes in Gap in the display dialogue box.
7. We advise you to experiment with the Align, Caps, and Corners settings as well for more distinctive dotted or dashed underlining.

Step 3: Start Drawing

1. Place your cursor at the beginning of your text after making all the aforementioned adjustments to the line tool’s parameters.
2. Use Control + R (Windows) or Command + R (Mac) to check where the start point is if you can’t see it. Doing so will bring up the rulers in the working area’s top left and top right corners.
3. To align your text, click the left ruler and then drag a guide to the edge of the first letter.
4. Drag a second guide to the text’s endpoint to further refine your line.
5. Once everything is ready, place your cursor at the text’s beginning (on the left guide).
6. Next, while holding Shift, drag the guide to the text’s endpoint.
7. To erase the guides you applied to your text, use Control + ; (Windows) or Command + ; (Mac) after pressing Enter on your keyboard to confirm your choice.
8. After building your dashed or dotted underline, you must link the underlining to the text layer. To do this, open the Layers panel and click each layer individually while holding the Shift key to select them all.
9. Then, right-click (on a Windows computer) or control-click (on a Mac) one of the chosen layers, and select Connect Layers.

Step 1: Locate the pattern in the Swatches panel. In this instance, we put it in a separate panel tab along with other patterns.
